After graduating from the University of Utah, SJ Quinney College of Law in 2005, Jared practiced for a small boutique family law firm and he has been representing clients in family law and divorce cases since that time.
Jared has worked at some of the most prestigious and well respected law firms in Salt Lake City. In 2018, Jared along with his partners started what is now known as McConkie Hales & Jones with the vision of offering clients big firm experience with small firm care and attention. Jared has experience in representing clients from diverse backgrounds including high asset individuals, clients with closely held businesses, family trusts, professional athletes and social media influencers.
Jared is a former Chair of the Utah State Bar Family law Executive Committee and a former Board Member of the Utah Journal of Family Law. Jared has been recognized by his peers as a Utah Business Magazine “Legal Elite” and Mountain States Super Lawyer. Jared has been an Instructor at Utah State University and a regular lecturer and writer on various family law subjects.
In his free time, Jared enjoys spending time with his family, coaching little league football, and hunting with his two Boykin Spaniels.
